De Ronde van Nieuwveen

De Ronde van Nieuwveen is a Thursday evening running race held in Nieuwveen, Zuid-Holland, scheduled near the summer solstice. This local race night offers distances for children, a G-Loop, and adult races of 5 km, 10 km, and 15 km, accommodating families, recreational runners, and more serious club runners. The course winds through and around Nieuwveen, avoiding a track or park setting. The youngest children compete over 0.4 km, ages 7 to 9 and the G-Loop run 0.8 km, and ages 10 to 13 cover 1.7 km. These youth races are free, while the adult distances require a small entry fee. The event is part of the Gemeente Nieuwkoop Circuit, and its inaugural edition attracted over 400 participants, with a cap of 1,200 runners.
