26th Annual River City Rat Race

The River City Rat Race is a fall 10K and 5K run/walk in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. Both distances begin on East Main Street and conclude at the Old Fort. The race features a downtown course that guides participants through autumn park areas and along the riverfront, with proceeds benefiting the Great Fort Wayne Central YMCA. The 10K route utilizes the riverfront paths and serves as a Fort Wayne Run Club points race. The 5K offers a shorter path through the downtown parks for runners and walkers. The event is USATF sanctioned, includes a race shirt and finisher medal for participants, and recognizes Masters and age-group winners from young children to runners in their nineties.
