The DSNO Buddy Walk is an annual fundraiser for Down Syndrome Network Oregon, taking place at Millennium Plaza Park in Lake Oswego. It is a community walk, not a competitive race, where individuals with Down syndrome, their families, friends, and teams gather for a morning-to-afternoon event supporting DSNO’s statewide initiatives.
The day centers on the walk, team fundraising, speakers, and time for DSNO families to connect. Abigail McNatt has been a keynote speaker, sharing her perspective on Down syndrome and its meaning to her family, and attendees often describe the event as a place to see loved ones. Funds raised support DSNO’s year-round activities, including resources for individuals with Down syndrome of all ages and a rented workspace for adults to perform jobs like packaging biscuits for W.A.G. Snax.
