The 4 Day Movement Path to the PORTAL 8K, 4K Run/Walk + .4K Kids Run!

The 4 Day Movement Path to the PORTAL is a Saturday morning charity race held at Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Participants can select an 8K race, or a 4K for walkers and runners. Children have a short .4K fun run, approximately 400 meters. The event is organized by The 4 Day Movement, Inc., a Goldsboro 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Funds raised benefit The P.O.R.T.A.L., a program offering temporary housing, support, and resources to local individuals transitioning out of homelessness. Ryan and Michelle Rasmussen, along with Dr. Greg and Laura Nichols, host the event. Medals are awarded to top finishers in the 8K and 4K races. The children's run is donation-based, with all participants receiving a ribbon.
