TTT: Theatre Turkey Trot

The Theatre Turkey Trot begins Thanksgiving morning at Ditto Landing in Huntsville, Alabama. Runners and walkers will follow a flat 5K course along the riverfront, preceding the holiday meal. A 1 Mile Fun Run is also part of the event, offering a shorter, less intense option for children and adults new to competitive running. Walkers and strollers may participate in the 5K, broadening the field beyond a typical race crowd. Participants are encouraged to wear Thanksgiving-themed costumes. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest runners in several women's, men's, and youth categories. Proceeds from the event benefit Around the Curtain Community Children's Theatre.
