Cannock Chase Trail Half Marathon, 10K & 5K

The Cannock Chase Trail Half Marathon, 10K & 5K takes place in Cannock Chase Forest, Staffordshire. Runners can select from three distances on hilly forest paths. The race begins at an event site located off Penkridge Bank Road, separate from the Go Ape Visitor Centre. This event is suitable for those seeking an off-road run instead of a flat road race. The courses wind through the trees on Cannock Chase’s woodland trails. Downloadable maps and GPX files are provided for participants who wish to review the course beforehand. The event welcomes novices, regular club runners, and experienced athletes using it for training. Previously held in autumn, the race now occurs in summer. All finishers get a custom medal and complimentary race photos, while top runners contend for trophies and awards.
