Atlantic Coast Ultra

The Atlantic Coast Ultra is a 40-mile coastal ultra in Cornwall. It begins at Fistral Beach in Newquay and concludes at St Ives Bay Holiday Park near Hayle. This event is part of the Atlantic Coast Challenge and marks its seventh year. It welcomes participants who wish to run, walk, or maintain movement by any means. While the distance is demanding, the field includes participants of all paces. The course traces the South West Coast Path southward along the Atlantic coast to Hayle River Mouth. It features varied terrain, including open ground, steep ascents, and sharp descents. Participants are expected to self-navigate, requiring both concentration and endurance. Epic Endurance Events CIC manages the race, with the event headquarters located at St Ives Bay Holiday Park. Services include transport from HQ to the start, support for those retiring from the race, and a custom T-shirt and medal for all finishers.
