Ribbon Run Manchester raises funds for Sands, a charity that supports families affected by pregnancy loss or baby death. Held during Baby Loss Awareness Week, it also functions as a remembrance event. Participants can choose to run or walk 5km or 10km, with a 1km Fun Run offered for all ages.
The course circles Heaton Park, beginning at the Ribbon Run Event Village. People of all kinds, including individuals, couples, families, and friends, gather to remember babies who have died. Peter Moseley, a bereaved father and part of Sands United FC Manchester, backs the event to increase community awareness and commemorate the lives of babies.
