Route 66 Run- Stop 7 Pontiac 2026

Join us in Pontiac for Stop 7 of the Solidarity Sidekick Down Route 66 series, a 6.6K run/walk celebrating community, courage, and the spirit of those living with ALS. Every step contributes to the collective mileage of supporters across Illinois following Route 66 from Chicago to the Mississippi River. This event connects with Enric Casacuberta, who is running the entire Illinois stretch of Route 66 solo to honor those living with ALS. Participants will join Enric for a 2.1-mile shared run, a symbolic 'sidekick' segment. Pontiac, known for its murals, museums, and Route 66 landmarks, provides the setting for this run focused on solidarity.
