Together We Run for Education Charity Road Race 2026

Together We Run for Education is a 5K charity run/walk held at Great River Park in East Hartford, Connecticut. The race begins at 10:00 AM, with registration opening at 9:00 AM. Parking is available at the park. The East Hartford Alumni Association and Education Foundation hosts this, their first 5K charity road race. The course runs alongside the Connecticut River, placing participants within a riverside park setting instead of a closed downtown loop. The event is intended for families, friends, neighbors, alumni, and local supporters, not exclusively competitive runners. Proceeds benefit scholarships for graduating East Hartford Public Schools students and alumni, mini-grants for teachers and staff who run enrichment programs, and mentoring and networking programs associated with East Hartford Public Schools.
