Copa Norte Macapá 2026

At Macapá's Olympic Pool, Copa Norte Macapá gathers over 284 young swimmers for the Copa Norte de Natação. This event is part of Brazil's northern circuit, coordinated by the Amapaense Federation of Aquatic Sports with the State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure, and supported by the Government of Amapá. Swimmers represent the region, including Acre, Amazonas, Amapá, Pará, Roraima, Rondônia, and Tocantins, with Piauí also sending delegations. They compete for the Troféu Leônidas Marques, now in its 27th edition, and Macapá is hosting for the third time. The cup contributes to Brazil's national youth swimming ranking, with top athletes potentially advancing to the Brazilian Swimming Championship or earning a spot on the national team.
