The Brdský běžecký pohár is a running competition held near the Brdy hills in Czechia. Its series of races takes place throughout late spring and early summer. Now in its seventh edition, the calendar focuses on local cross-country, forest, hill, and short road races, rather than a single race day.
The events vary in length, from 4 km and 5 km options to main races of about 8-10 km, with children's races offered at most locations. Zahořanská 10 is a 10.2 km forest trail featuring approximately 250 m of elevation gain. The Lochovice-Plešivec hill race, the season's highlight, covers about 5.5 km with 350 m of gain. This event also includes a 3 km family run benefiting the Mezi břehy home hospice in the Berounsko region. Participants in the main race receive a sausage and a drink at the finish line, a traditional Czech custom.
