O tomto závodu
Lasse-Majaloppet begins at Ekbacksbadet in Arboga, directing runners into the forests south of the town. This trail race takes place two weeks before Lidingöloppet and offers main distances of 23 km, 13 km, and 6 km, alongside a 1.5 km option for younger children.
The course consists primarily of paths and forest roads, giving it the character of a woodland run rather than a road race. Arboga Skidklubb established the event, with the name commemorating the notorious Lasse-Maja. The race saw over 1,000 participants during its peak decades; currently, approximately 300 to 400 runners typically compete across the three main distances, and children have their own small Lasse-Majaloppet.
