7th Annual Tammany Trot 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run 2026

The Tammany Trot is a 5K and 1-mile fun run held at the Daly Mansion and the historic Bitter Root Stock Farm in Montana's Bitterroot Valley. This is the event's sixth year. It is a casual community race where participants can choose between a timed 5K or a shorter fun run. All proceeds benefit the care and upkeep of the Daly Mansion grounds. The grounds themselves are the primary attraction, with participants running on the mansion and stock farm property instead of city streets. The race also features horses from Wings Programs Inc., adoptable dogs from the Bitter Root Humane Association, and local elements such as bibs from Missoula's Runners Edge, laser-engraved finisher medals, locally screen-printed collector shirts, and engraved copper-style mugs for the top two 5K finishers. Fin's Taphouse holds an early bag pick-up pint night, contributing to a small-town, local-partner atmosphere before race morning.
