9/11 Never Forget Trail Run/Walk 5k

The 9/11 Never Forget Trail Run/Walk 5K is an annual unpaved trail event at Fillmore County Park, presented by Livingston County Veteran Services and Howell Recreation. It takes place in September near the 9/11 anniversary, with runners and walkers on a 5K course, not a road race. The event commemorates the 9/11 victims and honors military veterans and first responders. The trail is rough, so all-terrain strollers are recommended, and only service dogs are permitted. All participants get a finisher medal, early registrants get a shirt, and proceeds fund AEDs for local American Legion and VFW posts after event costs are covered.
