St Stephen School Welcome Back 5K

The St. Stephen School Welcome Back 5K is a 5K run or walk at Beaver Island State Park on Grand Island, New York, starting from Lot #4. It is held in September, with the main 5K and a 400-meter Kids Dash for children 10 and under both scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Adults and older children can run or walk the 5K, while younger children have a short dash. The 5K follows the West River path, so participants are near the water inside the state park rather than on city streets. The event is in its fourth year and is tied directly to St. Stephen School on Grand Island. Entry fees and other proceeds go to the school’s Home School Association fundraising effort, which helps cover part of the school budget.
