UNCF 5k for Prostate Cancer 2026

The UNCF 5k for Prostate Cancer is a community 5K held in Reno, Nevada, at Idlewild Park. Beginning in the morning, the event features a standard 5K distance, welcoming walkers, first-time participants, families, and casual runners alongside competitive racers. This event directly supports prostate cancer awareness, prevention efforts, and aid for those affected by the disease. Proceeds from the race fund prevention education, lodging assistance, and transportation support for individuals impacted by prostate cancer. A course map is available to participants. Registration covers entry to the 5K, a medal, and sponsor goodie bags, subject to availability. Post-race, adults 21 and over may purchase beer, and local food vendors like D’Javs Burger and El Rinconcito Chilango will offer food and beverages within the park.
