Løb: Locals run the Danube side first, because Rácalmási Nagy-sziget and the Ártéri Tanösvény give easy dirt, river air, and trail-running with character. Koronás park works for short laps, strides, and simple Z2 when the legs feel cooked. Rácalmási Szigetfutás is the local anchor, with the 7. Rácalmási Szigetfutás mixing terepfutás, terepkerékpár, walking, and Nordic walking on the same island mood. Velencei Sunset Run gives the summer crowd a relaxed, cheerful, in the sunset target by Velencei-tó. Locals use these races like club nights when no named running club is given.

Cykling: Locals ride flat first, then hunt the small ramps when intervals are on the card. Dunaújváros sits on Mezőföld, so base miles come easy south of town and along the Danube. The first route runs 4 km and climbs 252 m. The second route runs 5 km but climbs 260 m. Dunaújvárosi FVE is the club name to watch, and Rácalmási Szigetfutás gives off-road riders the anchor day.

Sæson: April and May are the cleanest cycling months, and locals usually build the first proper block there. Summer turns the Velencei-tó side into the obvious race trip, because Velencei Sunset Run keeps things relaxed, cheerful, in the sunset and caps the field at 1,000 participants. The race covers 3 km and keeps the effort steady. Winter changes the rhythm for both sports—runners have Yours Truly Dunaharaszti during the coldest months, and cyclists stick to shorter, flatter rides.
