Back Your Blue 5K

Back Your Blue 5K is a community 5K in downtown Jeffersonville, starting at Big Four Station and Big 4 Park. The event has been held since 2017 with the Jeffersonville Police Department, beginning at 9 AM and designed for runners and walkers. Its purpose is local and athletic: proceeds support the Jeffersonville Police Department's equipment purchases, with sponsorship from local businesses and community members. The course begins at Big 4 Park, heads toward Riverside Drive, runs along the river, and finishes back at Big 4 Park. A coffee and donut stop is provided on the course. The top three finishers get prizes, age-group winners receive certificates, and the run leads into a community gathering featuring food, music, inflatables, police vehicles, equipment displays, activities, and demonstrations.
