Road Race for Education

The Road Race for Education is an annual 5K and Fun Run held in East Atlanta, offering both in-person and virtual participation. Mohammed Schools of Atlanta organizes the race, which supports the school's mission of providing accessible, affordable education. Participants in the in-person 5K will receive a participant shirt, subject to availability. The race boasts over forty years of history, formerly known as The Mohammed Ali Road Race, a tribute to Muhammad Ali. It unites the East Lake community and its neighbors, encouraging team involvement. Teams of five runners or walkers can register, with a prize awarded to the largest participating team. Jabir Hazziez is the race director, supported by Stephanie Williams and N'aimah Abdullah on the race team.
