Om dette løb
The Run for Mental Health 5K/10K/13.1 Los Angeles is a private group run focused on mental health awareness. Waves are capped and begin at 7:30, 8:00, and 8:30 AM. Participants can select a 5K, 10K, half marathon, or a 1-mile Family Fun Run. A virtual option is available for the three main distances. The atmosphere is relaxed: all paces and ages are welcome, and participants may run or walk. Those under 18 require a guardian. Timing is optional, without chips; runners can use an app or ask coordinators for assistance recording their time.
The race simplifies logistics by mailing shirts and swag to US addresses, eliminating packet pickup. Bibs are distributed on race day. Finishers get a medal, a towel or giveaway item, online results, and a certificate. An eco-friendly registration option is available without a shirt. The event's goal is clear: run for mental health, support individuals facing mental health challenges, and help reduce stigma. Local running club involvement, volunteers, sponsorships, charity efforts, and multi-race discounts contribute to a community-focused atmosphere rather than a formal race production.
