Run to the Taproom - Creekside Farm Brewery 5K & 8K

Run to the Taproom at Creekside Farm Brewery is a 5K and 8K trail race in King George, Virginia. Both distances begin at the brewery in the morning. It is chip-timed, capped at 250 participants, and in its second annual running. Runners receive bibs and shirts on race morning. The 8K has a 1 hour 40 minute limit, and the 5K has a 1 hour limit. The course uses a well-marked, non-technical dirt trail through Creekside’s 1,000-acre farm, bordering the Rappahannock River. The 5K is open to walkers and children; strollers are permitted. Leashed, well-behaved dogs may join if they start toward the back. Awards go to the top three overall finishers and age-group winners by gender, with groups starting under 20 and then split by decade. After the run, runners 21 and older receive a beer ticket. Craft beer is served in the tasting room, with live music and food trucks. Participants receive a tech shirt, souvenir pint glass, and free downloadable photos.
