The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk honors the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a firefighter who ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers on 9/11. It remembers all lost that day and supports first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices. Awards are given to firefighters, police, or military running in gear, as Stephen Siller did.
