Audley serves as the starting point, integrating Florence Parade, the Hacking River, and the bushland of the Royal National Park into a single adventure-race day. This event is not a simple run with a single obstacle; it combines trail running, mountain biking, and kayaking with navigation, undertaken by teams of two who must remain together, requiring both thought and physical effort.
The Classic course presents a challenge for those who underestimate it, featuring steep climbs from the valley, technical riding, descents on mountain bike tracks, and kayaking on the Hacking River near Audley. The Novice option retains a similar character, including the Honeymoon Steps climb, single track descents, and a shorter paddle, offering a genuine entry point for beginners, teenagers, and younger children with supervision, rather than a simplified fun run.
