Backyard da Moda S.C.C

Backyard da Moda S.C.C. is a loop race in Santa Cruz do Capibaribe, Pernambuco, Brazil, run on a closed circuit within Moda Center. Participants assemble an hour before the morning start, then complete 6.7 km laps in three formats: Half allows up to four laps, Ultra up to eight, and Resta 1 continues with no set lap limit until only one runner remains. The course is flat and fast, emphasizing steady rhythm over significant climbs. The 50K ultra has a 39-hour time limit. One edition extended from Saturday into Sunday night, concluding when a Santa Cruz runner won after 39 hours, securing a spot on Brazil’s national team. The event attracts a small field of 50 competitors, with a majority of women. Awards include trophies for male and female winners in each format, trophies for completing at least one lap, medals for all participants, and additional prize money for the largest team.
