The Rio de Janeiro event of the Circuito da Longevidade Bradesco Seguros takes place in Copacabana, offering 5 km and 10 km routes suitable for those preferring a moderate road race over extreme distances. This event is part of a series visiting eight Brazilian cities, with the overall initiative focused on physical activity, quality of life, and active aging across various life stages.
The Rio route runs alongside the beach, providing runners with ocean views on one side and the city's surrounding mountains on the other. The circuit also features events in locations such as São Paulo, Brasília, Campinas, and Salvador, utilizing venues like Pacaembu, the Buriti region, Praça Arautos da Paz, and Jardim de Alah. Bradesco Seguros developed the project through Grupo Segurador, supported by Brazil’s Sports Incentive Law. It is designed for beginners, regular runners, older adults, and individuals who run to maintain an active lifestyle.
