DESAFIO ROTA DA BALEIA 80K 2026

Desafio Rota da Baleia 80K is a trail-running race along the Santa Catarina coast in Brazil, connecting Laguna, Imbituba, and Garopaba. The primary event is an 80 km solo race beginning at 05:00 with approximately 1,320 m of elevation gain. Shorter solo options are available over 42 km, 21 km, and 8 km. The race takes place in September and is organized by On Sports. The course begins in Laguna, crosses beach sections via Imbituba, and concludes in Garopaba. Participants can complete the 80K individually or as a relay with two, four, or eight members. Consequently, the participants range from ultrarunners to shorter-distance trail runners and teams sharing the extended route. The event anticipates around 1,000 participants and holds ITRA listings, including Mountain Level 2 and Finisher Level 220, along with National League status.
