The Fall Wild Rose Women's Indoor Triathlon is a women's indoor triathlon in Cochrane, Alberta, held at the SLS Centre (Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sport Centre) on Griffin Road East. Instead of racing over fixed distances, athletes complete timed sections in heats: 10 minutes in the pool, 20 minutes on a stationary bike, and 15 minutes walking or running laps indoors.
The swim counts as many pool laps as each participant can complete, and any stroke is allowed. The bike leg uses stationary bikes with an instructor or coach leading the group through a course, then the final section moves to a track or gym-lap setup. Registration is by heat, so friends can choose the same start group, and the event is built for a wide range of athletes, from first-time triathletes to experienced racers.
