Über dieses Rennen
The Balexert 20 km de Genève is an autumn road race in Geneva, finishing on the shore of Lake Geneva near the Jet d’Eau. The main race is 20 km, but the event offers runners and walkers multiple options: 20 km solo or relay, 10 km solo or relay, 10 km walking, Nordic walking, and junior races for children aged 3 to 13. This event, with fewer than ten editions, is part of the Trophée Léman Running series.
The 20 km route crosses Geneva’s urban areas and the surrounding countryside, including sections through International Geneva with views toward the Jura and Mont Blanc. The course profile is suitable for a road race, featuring approximately 100 m of climbing and an elevation range from about 100 m to 500 m. Families participate through junior races from 500 m to 2 km, and the Mascotte Run adds a playful element. The event supports Réseau Cancer du Sein, and one edition aimed to raise 15,000 CHF for a child's heart operation.
