The Mitja Badia Roses is a running event held in the Bay of Roses, situated between the sea and nearby mountains. The primary event is a 21 km half marathon, complemented by a 7.5 km Xmas race. The environment supports comfortable running with a 100% flat course, a mild climate, and a route offering unobstructed views across the bay.
Participants begin at Av Rhode in the Zig Zag area, using the race to view the Bay of Roses from a runner's perspective, distinct from its typical beach or holiday setting. Registrations include a disposable bib and timing chip, in-race aid, accident insurance, and a commemorative gift. A portion of each entry fee, one euro, supports a charitable cause, integrating a small philanthropic aspect into the event.
