Trepitja Garrotxa is a charity mountain-running series held in Oix, within Spain’s Alta Garrotxa, typically in late October. The series offers four race distances: a short 13 km, a 23 km, and longer trail and ultra options. Past formats have included 53 km, 62 km, and 84 km, with historical ultra results exceeding 100 km, indicating the main distance may vary by edition.
The courses predominantly follow mountain paths, incorporating some tracks and road segments. The 62 km ultra features approximately 4,100 m of elevation gain and has a time limit of 18 hours and 30 minutes. Approximately 400 participants compete across all events. The race also functions as the Catalan championship for ultra-distance and team racing. Organized by the Centre Excursionista d’Olot, proceeds benefit the Albert Bosch Foundation, supporting initiatives against childhood diseases, such as childhood cancer.
