Béziers Urban Trail 2026

Béziers Urban Trail is an urban trail race held in Béziers, located in the Hérault department of Occitanie, southern France. The event offers both running and walking options in a “run & rando” format, designed for participants who prefer to explore the city on foot rather than compete on paved roads. It typically takes place near the heritage-days period, with the historic city center serving as the primary focus. The routes traverse Béziers’ historic streets, landmarks, less-traveled areas, and well-known city views, transforming the race into a guided tour of one of France’s most ancient cities. The longest available course extends to 42 km with approximately 900 m of elevation gain, distinguishing it from a simple flat city run. Locals refer to Béziers Urban Trail as BUT.
