Über dieses Rennen
The Course des 4 Massifs is a multi-day trail running series in France, held around mid-June across four mountain areas instead of a single course. The main stages are short for ultra-running but are mountain races: Haute-Savoie is 18 km, Vosges is 20 km, Hautes-Alpes is 22 km, and Côte d’Azur is 23 km, totaling approximately 80 km. The event's concept is “4 massifs, 1 challenge,” with formats around 20 km designed for runners of various abilities.
The Vosges stage begins and ends at Longemer lake, ascends towards the Hohneck, follows the ridges towards La Schlucht, and descends by Retournemer. In Haute-Savoie, runners depart from Samoëns, follow the Giffre, pass through Sixt, and complete a loop in the Cirque du Fer à Cheval before finishing near the waterfalls. The Hautes-Alpes route starts from Les Orres, passes through the old village, and climbs to Lake Sainte-Marguerite, offering views toward Serre-Ponçon and the Barre des Écrins.
