Ekiden des Plages 2026

Ekiden des Plages is a road relay marathon on the Mediterranean coast of Occitanie, with events listed in Canet-en-Roussillon in Pyrénées-Orientales and Port Leucate in Aude. Teams cover the classic marathon distance of 42.195 km, split between runners in Ekiden style rather than one person running the whole distance. The Canet event is scheduled for early July, while the Port Leucate race is listed in early June, both starting at 18:00. The course uses roads with seaside and town sections, offering runners both the beach setting and the streets of the coastal resort.
