Foulées du souvenir

Foulées du souvenir offers two trail races in Orbey, located in the Vosges mountains of eastern France. These races take place in November, near the Battle of the Linge memorial sites. Participants can select a 9.5 km course with 390 m of elevation gain or a more challenging 27.8 km course with 1,260 m of elevation gain, ensuring even the shorter route provides a substantial hilly trail running challenge. The 27.8 km race begins at the Salle Polyvalente d’Orbey, and the 9.5 km race starts further up at the Col du Wettstein. Both races conclude at the Musée Mémorial du Linge. The longer distance holds UTMB World Series Qualifier status and is recognized by ITRA, benefiting trail runners aiming for qualification points. A bus service is provided to transport runners from the finish back to the start locations, a convenient service for point-to-point races in mountainous areas.
