La Pontchâtelaine sends runners out after dark in Pontchâteau, Loire-Atlantique, with two short urban trail races on an October evening. ESCO Missillac-Pontchâteau organizes the event, offering Chouetroz at 8 km and Cassepattes at 15.5 km.
The routes mix paths, roads, and trails, with sections under town lighting and others in darkness, requiring every runner to carry a headlamp or belly lamp. Children’s races open the programme, the first registered runners in each race receive a gift, and on-site entries are not available.
