About
La Vigneronde is a small autumn trail race held in Puget-sur-Durance, located in the Vaucluse region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France. It is a nature run within the Luberon area, offering two race distances: 8 km and 13 km. Additionally, there is an 8 km non-timed hike for those who prefer to participate without competing against the clock.
The course takes participants through local vineyards surrounding Puget, positioning the event as a countryside trail run rather than a road race. This is a relatively new event, with its primary objective being charitable: race entries provide support to ARSLA, the French association dedicated to fighting Charcot's disease, also known as ALS. The participants will likely consist of trail runners, walkers, local residents, and individuals primarily motivated by the charitable cause.
