Laval Urban Trail is a night urban trail race held in Laval, Mayenne, in France’s Pays de la Loire region. Participants set out in early October, relying on headlamps, streetlights, and moonlight. The event features one main race of approximately 11 to 12 km with 300 to 320 m of elevation gain, making it short enough for a fast pace but hilly enough to require more than flat-road speed.
The route crosses Laval’s historic center, not open countryside, defining the race’s character: old streets, autumn darkness, and a compact city course completed independently. It is open to runners from the eligible age group upwards, with chip timing and a limit of 1,500 participants. This is the race's ninth edition. Each runner receives a local gift, at least one euro per entrant supports a cause, and participants are asked to bring their own reusable cup for the aid station.
