Les Bacchantes Reims

Les Bacchantes Reims is an 8 km charity run in Reims, with one clear rule: grow a mustache or wear a fake one. The race raises funds against prostate cancer, maintaining a light tone despite the serious cause. Participants begin at Parc de Champagne. The event also offers a non-timed 5.6 km walk for those who prefer not to race. The running course is a single loop through a tree-lined park and along the Vesle river on the coulée verte, near the center of Reims, the City of the Sacred. Individuals aged 16 and older may enter. The event welcomes families, friends, colleagues, club runners, and casual participants, not exclusively fast racers. Following the run, attendees gather at the Buffet des Bacchantes to discuss the race. Since 2016, Les Bacchantes Reims has contributed over 102,870 euros to urologists at Polyclinique Courlancy, supporting medical and surgical advancements in urology, including the KOELIS system for enhanced prostate biopsies.
