About
Les Boucles Lantonnaises is a running event in Lanton, on the Arcachon Basin, offering short formats designed for local runners and families. The schedule features 12 to 12.5 km and 6 km nature runs, an 11 to 12 km walk, a 1 km children's race, and a relay divided into 5.5 km and 7 km segments. A company challenge is also included, meaning the day is not restricted to individual runners focused on their times.
The longer course runs partly alongside the Arcachon Basin before entering wooded areas with minimal pavement, giving it the character of a local trail excursion rather than a road race. A participant review described it as “the stress-free race,” noting its family atmosphere, relaxed pace, and suitability for preparing for a larger event or varying regular training. The Association Running Lanton organizes the event, donating one euro from each entry fee to the Bergonié Institute.
