Relais pour la Ligue is a six-hour charity relay held at the sports complex in Le Rheu. It is organized by the Ille-et-Vilaine committee of the League Against Cancer. Teams of walkers and runners use a dedicated track, keeping the relay moving continuously. Anyone can form a team and participate. This event is in its second edition with a new format, emphasizing solidarity over speed.
All funds raised benefit the League Against Cancer's Social Commission, providing financial aid to individuals affected by cancer. This aid can cover human assistance, immediate financial needs, or projects supporting daily life during or after illness. An event village operates throughout the day, offering food, drinks, family activities, music, and face painting, providing reasons for supporters and families to remain present even when not actively on the track.
