Semi-marathon et 10 km de Nuits-Saint-Georges

In Nuits-Saint-Georges, a wine town in Côte-d'Or, Burgundy, this race weekend offers a half marathon and shorter running options, coinciding with the Vente des Vins des Hospices de Nuits-Saint-Georges. The primary events are the 21.097 km semi-marathon and the 10 km. Children's races, joëlette starts for assisted-wheelchair teams, and a morning Nordic walk are also scheduled. Over 3,000 runners participate, leading organizers to implement staggered starts for manageable flow through the town center. The course presents moderate, not mountainous, terrain. The 10 km includes approximately 60 m of elevation gain, the half marathon around 100 m, and the Nordic walk, at 11 km, is steeper with 205 m of gain. The setting is the Côte de Nuits, a compact vineyard region, placing the race within a weekend focused on local wine and town festivities. Association Nuits Semi-Marathon Organisation manages the event, now in its twenty-first edition. The participation of runners, walkers, children, and joëlette teams contributes to a community sports day atmosphere.
