Swimrun Lac de vassiviere

Swimrun Lac de Vassivière takes place in Beaumont-du-Lac, Haute-Vienne, within France's Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Participants alternate between trail running and open-water swimming, utilizing the lake and surrounding forest for the course, distinct from a road or pool race. The event, also known as SwimRun des Îles de Vassivière and Swimrunman Lac de Vassivière, provides multiple race distances. These include a 2.1 km children's race, a 13.7 km Night or Night & Day option, a 14 km Sprint, a 23.2 km Classic, and a 37.5 km Half. This variety allows younger participants, those new to swimrun, and experienced endurance athletes to compete at the same location, with lake swims interspersed with running segments through natural landscapes.
