Trail des Brosses

The Trail des Brosses takes place in Chantraine, a small town in the Vosges department near Épinal in eastern France, held annually in November. This trail-running event features forest, nature, and mountain routes. The program includes distances from the short TDB 7 up to a 50 km race with approximately 1,200 meters of elevation gain. Other options are the TDB 13, TDB 22, and TDB 35, alongside children's races named L’Obscure Courses enfants. The routes offer participants a green, hilly circuit around Chantraine, distinct from a flat road race, with an available night-race option. The TDB 22, a UTMB Index 20K race, spans 22.5 km with just over 500 meters of ascent, attracting runners seeking a moderate trail challenge and locals wanting a shorter race. The event embraces a lighthearted character with its “Mario Brosse” theme, while managing logistics practically: parking in town is limited, and the equestrian center parking is reserved for volunteers.
