Trail du Soleil Couchant - 16 km 2026

Trail du Soleil Couchant is an evening trail event in Trébaïx, Lot, southwest France, offering two running routes and one walking route. The program includes a 10 km trail, a 16 km trail, and a 10 km hike, with staggered starts in the early evening to complement its sunset setting. The Association Trail du Soleil Couchant organizes this, their eighth edition. The courses feature new paths annually, with aid stations and electronic timing for the trail races. It functions as a local community gathering as well as a competition: volunteers manage the welcome, photographers cover the course, all participants receive a prize, and the finish offers soup for everyone, drinks for hikers, and beer for trail runners. Afterward, local producers provide a countryside meal on site accompanied by live music.
