Cyclists have it better: the Brewdog Ride Out Sportive showcases the rolling farmland and quiet roads of Aberdeenshire, while the Deeside Way offers a traffic-free 50km rail trail running south towards Banchory through pine forests and river valleys at roughly 50–100m elevation.
