MTC Glaistig

From Innerleithen to Travelodge Edinburgh Airport, this is a point-to-point road ultra with a straightforward objective: maintain forward motion until the destination is reached. New for 2028, MTC Glaistig is part of the "Mount to Coast End to End Challenge Series" and also serves as Day 2 of the "end to end challenge of Scotland" within the "Myths & Legends of SCOTIA" series. This course offers a city-to-city atmosphere, distinct from a loop that might offer mental respite; it requires ultra runners to maintain consistent forward progress throughout the day. The finish is set at the practical Travelodge at the airport, providing a sense of completion akin to multi-day events. All finishers receive a unique race medal, with the option to purchase the official race t-shirt and hi-viz jacket during registration.
