Stroud Semi-Marathon

The Stroud Half Marathon is an annual road race held in Stroud, Gloucestershire. It features a half marathon that begins in the morning, followed shortly by a 10k race. This event is one of the UK's longer-established half marathons, designed to accommodate both casual participants and competitive club runners aiming for personal bests. The half marathon course commences and concludes on Cainscross Road, adjacent to Marling School. The route is predominantly flat, with a single gradual incline encountered around the sixth and seventh miles. The 10k race operates as a closed-road, point-to-point event, starting at Grove Lane and finishing at Marling School. Volunteers are present to assist at water stations and the finish line. The race also provides support to Longfield, a Gloucestershire-based charity dedicated to assisting families within the county.
