The Eagles' Ridge Trail Race is a 14 km trail run held in Litochoro, Pieria. It features 800 metres of climbing on a short mountain course. The race begins in the morning, with a five-hour time limit for completion, making it suitable for runners seeking a challenging yet manageable day on the trails, rather than an ultra-distance event. The Olympus Marathon organizes this, the sixth running of the race.
The course includes aid stations at 4.5 km near Kiosks/Kokkinogies and 8.2 km at Stavros/Boulotas Refuge. Participants require trail shoes, a visible bib, and a minimum of 0.5 litres of hydration. Runners must carry their own cup or bottle, as the event does not supply plastic cups. Men and women aged 15 and older are eligible to enter; parental consent is necessary for those under 18. All finishers within the time limit will receive medals, and the top three male and female runners overall will be awarded trophies in Litochoro Park.
