4. Isaszegi Kerékpáros Emléktúra

Kőbányai Szabadidő Központ on Előd utca serves as the starting point for the 4. Isaszegi Kerékpáros Emléktúra. This cycling memorial tour honors the Battle of Isaszeg, fought on April 6, 1849. This battle was a significant engagement during the 1848-49 revolution and war of independence, resulting in a Hungarian victory against the Habsburg army. The course proceeds via Harmat utca and the Csősztorony meeting point. It then connects city streets, bike paths, the cycle path alongside Rákospatak, and approximately 1000 meters of dirt road on Régivám utca before arriving at the Isaszeg Battle Memorial. Participants pause for rest and refreshments at Szemere Pál Művelődési Ház. The return journey follows Damjanich utca, Rákóczi utca, Péceli út, and the established network of streets back to Kőbánya. The event is designed as a family-friendly spring ride, underscored by the respectful commemoration of the battle.
